I'd really love a PS4, except for two things: there aren't really any great deals on them yet, and they don't play PS3 games. I'd pay more if I could sell my PS3 to make up the difference, but I have to keep it to play my backlog of games. Guess I'll just wait.
There are actually some great deals on them. Go to www.cowboom.com and buy one from there. I did about 2 weeks ago and it was one of the best buys (pun intended) I have ever done. Got the console, with the controller for about $280 after tax, a coupon, and free shipping. I hate all these "deals" where you end up buying games you aren't even a huge fan of. Get the console from here, and buy what you want....you won't find another deal like this one.
Too bad these next gen consoles are not backward compatible. The PS3 and Xbox360 still fit the bill with great games. $199 for next year's Black Friday would be great.
Good post earlier on the wish for backward compatibility with PS3 games...I'd get a PS4 if it had that feature; as it is, I'll wait until the price comes down to $250 or so (however many years down the road that will be).
What games on PS3 do you want to play so badly? There are better, never versions of Last of Us, Tomb Raider, and others in disc format not to mention all the PS3 titles available to rent/buy via PS Now.
I usually only play through single player games once, and usually get bored with multilayer after a month or two... why is everyone so concerned about playing old games you have already played through?
says IN STOCK....but when you add to cart, says OUT OF STOCK (regardless of controller selection). Only one additional game to choose from (so cant change that).
