    I trying to understand why this is a deal, I checked the 2 stores in my area, $8.97 a expensive light bulb. can buy 3 curly Q's for less.

    been $4 in my local stores for months....decent price only if in need, since I have a bunch of CFLs and didn't pay much (8 pack for a dollar), this won't really pay off for me...

    Bought these from a deal in the past. Some make a slight humming noise. Not loud enough to bother me, but if you need complete silence, it may bother you.

    Kewl design. A 4 pack of CFL costs 0.89 at Costco these days. So dimmable LED is like a 20x price premium, even with this deal.
