What's a DVD? ;-)
Tiger also has the Philips BDP-1200 Blu_Ray player for $20 after rebate. Seems like a better buy IF they pay the rebate (Tiger has a bad rep for that)

By volume I think DVDs still top Blu Ray disks. They are also a lot cheaper and libraries still stock them. With a decent upconverting, the pic is quite all right.

DVDs are what us cheapskates already own and aren't going to pay again to replace with BD in most cases.

I'm even more retro than that... still have spools of free after rebate CDRs I got on Ben's back in the day, but worried mothers everywhere think I shouldn't use them because they're not BPA free lol I might accidentally eat one. DVD and BD aren't BPA free either.
