Yes, I sit or step on my glasses all the time. That's why I wear the cheaper glasses when of my bike. But when I'm racing or training, optical clarity is of utmost importance, so I wear the expensive pairs. Then I put them back in my protected compartment in my gear bag for all my bike stuff. Also, it'd be an odd combination, riding a 12K bicycle while wearing $5 gas station sunglasses.
