I dont understand 290 and gtx 770 are same but 770 is more stable and 3 year warranty. Nvidia is superior and this coming from amd cpu fan boy...

This is a tremendous deal, I bought 2 and they arrived in 2 days!

You might want to look at reviews R9 290 was 20% higher than a GTX770. Heck it bumped the 780 and for $100 less; remember 780's released for $650. When the 280X showed it was meant as the 770's competition. So today a R9 380 is more a sparing partner.

Please explain, "more stable"... how?

Are you sure of the 3Y warranty? Most often Nvidia OEM branded "sell-offs" like this will have at best 1Y warranty backed through Nvidia. Might be good for you to post the Warranty info in a review on B-H's site so everyone thinking of this has that information. Saying it there will bring credence, as B-H would obligated to refute it if not accurate.

Its been 3 year for quite sometime. I've emailed/talked to them to make sure its for the GTX 770 as well.

Amd graphic cards/drivers/Apus are notorious for being the most unstable pieces of $hit anyone has ever encountered. I have had all the Amd cards pretty much and maybe 20% of them were stable with the least software issues. and other 80% were being a pain. and had rma numerous cards.

Nvidia branded (original Nvidia oem)
have been reliable as heck. I got all the way up to 8 year old plus gpus from them that i bought second hand for testing and pretty much all of them always work, and work excellent.

270-290 are more reliable then most but still suffer issues. and 290 **** power and kill power supplies if you ever look them up. Nvidia cards your more prone to use a lower power, power supply.

I build computers as a hobbie and current have over 8 listed on
ebay.

I've been around the block. I have over 25 Graphic cards in house.
Amd has failed me time and time again. BUT there Cpus i think are way better than intel merely because of the Price to performance ratio is higher.. Intels best cpu is the G3258... Everything else is way over priced...

Amd graphic cards aren't tested properly because they can't afford the testing. They are also notorious for blowing up power supplies. they only card out there where for example they recommend 700w or something but then consumers say DONT do that just get a 1000W or something or it will just keep blowing up your card!

The Last fact is your talking about a Powercolor branded Gpu... lol ... (the cheapest one out there)

That's for something sold at
BestBuy
for $380, not sure if this can be parlayed to this from B&H deal. Although, this might be more apropos;

So if you know and have bought from them, why not just post a review on B&H? Easy-Peasy...

That's some of the worst luck I've ever heard from someone working computers. I might suggest you to take up model airplanes or something.

Now it just appears you've a predilection for color/flavor of Kool-Aid.

Have you ever had PowerColor? I've had and sold several of them over the years, after using them for several years of perfect service. I have two being used daily gaming and they run flawlessly, and never had issue with any of them.

I don't care AMD/Nvidia, but to spout the "characteristic rhetoric" should not be left to stand and pollute others.

As covered above the 780 (Non-Ti) and R9 290 that then over shadowed wasn't all that different in power. The 290 offered the same performance as a 780, while seeing 8% more power while gaming... big whoop. Sure the 970 came out 10 months later and Maxwell took the efficacy, although there's always a problem you can never believe anyone set(s) of numbers.

Here W1zzard originally had the 780 as 199W and the 290 with 214W. Then when the 970 shows this 780 number drops to 175W, while the 290 jumps to 239W! All of a sudden there's 36% between them?

Checking Guru3D both a 780 or later 290 said "On your average system the card requires you to have a 550 Watt PSU" and shows similar 8% difference.

Ben's Ghetto Dogs here might not listen (or purchase pre-built) from someone in the business that couldn't distinguish there's a 20% difference from a 770 and then a R9 290.
