Not a bad price but I went to 1000Mbps. What a difference with the higher speed internet and transfer rates between dvr's.

Yeah GbE is so ubiquitous today that this makes the most sense as an emergency backup that you hope you never have to use, tho' sometimes it's the switch's wall wart PSU that fails and this comes with a replacement too, probably good for about 8 ports or less on a modern green tech switch.
