I wonder if people are just using junk PSU in their systems that have excessive current ramp time. It matters more now that GPU and CPU have power state changes based on load.
#2 I bought this Wednesday the 14th on Shell Shocker for $50 bucks After 25 dollars mail-in rebates from eVga That was the best deal I seen this year in 2015
#5, the EVGA GT 740 was not really much of a deal. The card is only 58% performance of this card. This one is much better in performance. Can you still return it? lol
The GT740 (GK107) is the same as the GTX650 (non-Ti), with lower core clock that hardly reduced the TDP (64W) and still requiring a 6-pin. While not the performace of 7750 (GDDR5), R7 250 (GDDR5), R7 250E (55W), all of which did not need 6-pin.

Then again you could always underclock the GTX 650 but who pays more to underclock and by then the performance edge is nearly lost.
