Hard to say what it's really worth. A surge protector and line filter can be nothing more than a few MOVs and film capacitors, or it can be one of many different levels more complex and capable of protecting your equipment and filtering the power.
For example some have chokes, and/or per-outlet filtration so something plugged into one outlet won't put noise on the power to a different outlet, instead of only filtering once on the wall cord input. Some have spark gap and other addt'l methods of surge protection.
It's definitely not up to the level of a professional grade unit like Isobar makes, given that there just isn't enough room in the strip to fit all the parts, but it could be better than the avg. $22 unit.
