I own two of this exact stand, and they're built like a tank. (Note the average 5 star rating on , over hundreds of reviews.) This is a great deal when you consider the build quality of these - they're very heavy and well constructed, and they look great.
That said, I did receive one stand that came to me with a missing piece. Once contacted, Monoprice sent me another stand in its entirety and told me to simply keep the one that I'd received originally. (which I can probably make work even w/o said missing piece) Great customer service.
