Get $150 toward the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro

It is a 75 gift card AND a 75 trade-in

At least from what I read on the site. just enter any laptop information and it says the above.

I read it as a general $75 gift card and an additional coupon towards the Samsung Notebook. I will be trying it this weekend since I have an older machine that I no longer need. Normal trade in value is $18 but they give you a promotional offering to get it to $75. Not bad really.

BTW, limit 1 per customer.

Hey folks, I just successfully did this and can confirm it is a $75 gift card, then an additional $75 off the Samsung notebook 9 Pro coupon. I was surprised it worked with a netbook, YMMV.

Can you stack the Samsung Coupons?

Traded in an old Dell laptop yesterday, which was worth about $20 on
eBay.
It had a dead (wont even charge) battery, but otherwise booted. Got my $75 gift card. Don't care about the Samsung coupon, but got that too.

I was able to get the $75 gift card but had to argue with them for a bit. They took about 30 mins looking for the fine print but still couldn't find it. Since it wasn't clearly spelled out they eventually gave it to me.

Apparently the Tustin, CA store doesn't do trade-ins. Something about an anti-pawn law in Tustin (couldn't find one). Had to drive to Irvine store instead.

Thanks! I was able to trade in an old Dell Core Duo which was dying badly. It didn't have a hard drive and the power adapter was dead but the battery luckily had a enough charge to get to the bios so they could get their info.
I had to provide both my ID and a finger print but still worth it! :) Thanks!

Best of luck to all w/this BS deal. I got screwed - wasted a trip to their brick & mortar antiquated business model. They will be gone in less than 10 yrs

I was told the deal ends Sunday so hurry up. Make sure you bring a picture ID (my store required 2 picture IDs b/c it's so close to the university) and check to see if your laptop is eligible for the $75 gift card online. Some are not. My store didn't even turn on the laptop since all the info was on the stickers (processor, OS, brand) and I knew how much ram it had. Took about 15 minutes.

Like everyone else YMMV. Despite them having the offer terms printed on the counter, they said that I could only get the gift card and coupon if I purchased the Samsung laptop that day. Their explanation more or less was so many people took advantage they had to change the policy. I didn't know following a corporate policy was optional, and it's not customers fault you didn't think demand through. Waste of time

Traded in two laptops using this deal. Did one myself and had a friend trade in the other. You need the power adapters and they made sure it could boot into Windows. Other than that, the trade was pretty easy. One of the laptops even had a broken hinge and they didn't seem to care. Much easier than Craig's List and I probably made more money. I shop at BB all the time since they price match.

Correction from my earlier statement. Apparently the deal is still going on. I heard it's till the 15th now. lol. Anyways, we traded in 2 laptops and 1 netbook. Good deal. I had my wife go in and do one, b/c i thought it was limit one per person, but the best buy rep said there is no limit. Which I can attest to b/c I went in the next day and traded in the netbook. My friend also traded in two laptops.

Regarding it powering on, I think it depends on the rep. There was a guy who traded in his laptop (next to me) and didn't have his power cord but they took it. the rep that helped my wife turned it on to make sure it had an OS.

Does the laptop need to boot to an OS?
