I can no longer trust Microsoft with phone continuity. They could drop the phone business at any moment they pick.
I still remember how they suddenly dumped Windows Mobile, and went to Windows Phone 7, which was not compatible with many currently-owned devices at the time.
I did not want to spend $500 to $700 on a new device that I did not need.
Sting me once, and I'm no longer your customer, ever.
If you want to "play around" with a windows phone, you should try the 640 from Best Buy. It goes for around $30. it might not have the best or similar performance as the above, but it will give you a taste of of Windows Phone experience.
I still can not get my head around how nice the 640 feels in the hand and how good the display is for 720p. Just a shame the MS app store is so bad (lack of apps and search can't find its own mother) and the phone gets laggy sometimes.

Thank you!
