Phone factories are their own environment, makes no difference what country they're built in.

It does matter when the company is founded by the Chinese military General.

I 'v e been waiting to get rid of my Samsung Galaxy S3, just bought a Nexus 6P for $500 which is less than the overpriced Samsung 6 edge plus and they all work.

For $30 a month I have unlimited talk and text and if I don't use the $10 a month of data I get a credit.

Better than AT&T, T-mobile or Verizon at $50

If it is OK, it goes back, I have nothing to lose.

Wrong. The company was founded by a former Chinese military engineer. He retired from the military first and then founded the company.

:) Again, it's China and her military man we are talking about .. retired, doesn't matter. He works for the state. Having said that, I am not very impressed with the Nexus 6P phone. That black patch looks hideous. Sticking with my LG G4.

I have owned many Nexus devices and currently use the older Nexus 5. The fact that it has been two years and I always have the latest Android version plus I occasionally take advantage of the massive ROM support for Nexus devices. It was not a difficult choice to know I wanted another Nexus device the difficult part was picking which one to go with. I made the prudent decision and purchased both the 5X and 6P. I think they nailed the phones for the prices I just wish they would have kept wireless charging and i'm not sure if OIS is needed with the new camera. I will spend a few days with each and decide the keeper.

I originally had no intention of even considering the larger device (that's the reason I skipped last years model). However, the more I research these devices the more I am leaning toward the 6P. I just hope I can grow to like the large size. Also hoping T-Mobile supports it for all of their features such as WiFi calling and In-Flight texting.

Many if not most of the products you buy are made in China and ultimately, controlled by the government in one way or another. Usually that results in a lower price.

Ha, of course they won't. It's called capitalism. The point is to make more money.

Maybe you should live in a socialist country then you'll experience government greed and corruption.

I wish they got rid of the 16G and started the line with a base of 32G instead.

I'm in the same boat. Always had Nexus devices until I got the OnePlus 1. I was able to get used to that size, coming from the Nex5 before. The OnePlus 2 wasn't very compelling so was going to get the Motorola Pure, the 6P looks promising. If it's any consolation, it's smaller than the original Nexus 6.
