I bought one these AC units for my AirBnB, hoping to save a bit-o-cash and keep my guests cool. It lasted, oh, I don't know? Three weeks? Then it started sounding like like every bearing in it had failed at once. I had purchased it in the spring so of course by the time it went into use and quickly died the referb warranty was up.
You have to ask yourself, 'why are there literally thousands of these referb LG units for sale on and woot?' Gamble if you dare, or take it from this loser, look elsewhere.
Oh yeah, this model was recalled as a fire hazard... awesome.
