I like Kershaw's "made in USA" knives a lot, but with Kershaw 8Cr13MoV steel usually means made in China and in my experience their Chinese made knives don't hold an edge very well. At $15 it's still a good knife and real bargain, but just don't expect the same edge-holding ability as their higher-end (~$75) S30v based products. I've linked a comparison of popular knife steels.

Yeah, $15 knives usually don't hold an edge as well as $75 knives, but it does have superior blade steel, holds an edge better than the typical 420 or 440 you'd find on most other sub-$30 knives.

There is no website with a more apt URL than https://bensbargains.com. Every deal I see from them, I think to myself, "meh".
