Just sleep on the cold, hard floor instead and save yourself $18. Every air mattress I have ever slept upon deflates. The only difference is the rate of deflation, not whether it deflates.
most people over inflate their air mattresses, thereby causing premature seam failure and slow leaks. if you fill it tight as a drum, you're asking for trouble. an ever so slightly under inflated mattress will serve you well for a long time given you don't puncture it with rocks or twigs or other camping kryptonite. I've had an intex queen sized that I use for camping trips. other than occasional pinholes from debris (which is easily repaired) I've had nary a leak from seams or the filling ports.
