CPU performance is at the bottom of the list. Would've been better if this thing was low wattage. It sucks 53W.

?this is the only good cpu intel makes...
You can overclock these to 4.7ghz+
Pretty much you buy this or i7. Other was intel is complete waste of time.
This paired with gtx 960 or 970 yields 60fps+ 1080p ultra on battlefield 4.

So it's good deal or just get fx 6300 or 8350...

I agree, but to get to 4.7Ghz from what I've reading and hearing anymore it a lot more of a lottery to find such chips. While the right Mobo Z87 is a $80-100, then add proper cooler is at least $30. I say skip the OC'n and just get an i3-4170 3.7GHz $110 and some H81 1150 M-ATX for $50, and call it done.

I've built 3 machine with the FX 6300 ($90), find 970 Mobo and just about any nice $20-25 cooler can get you to approx. 4.3Ghz, while it may not offering what the G3258 has at those stratosphere OC's it's not that far off the mark in gaming. Egg had a Asus 970 for like $30 -AR yesterday, or MicroCenter will bundle the FX-6300 and ASRock 990FX Killer AM3+ ATX Mobo for $130 -AR$30. That leaves you extra cash to add to the graphics which would provides a better gaming experience.

Intel - you have no shame.
You want to sell junk = make the price attractive. Do not ask real money for something like that.
