    Windows 8 would be painful with only 1GB. 2GB or more is preferred.

    Yeah, I didn't think of that.
    I have the 2013 Nexus 7, I'm very happy with it.
    I was just hoping to get a Black Friday deal under $75 that was as good as the Nexus 7.
