if you will be using it frequently, I suggest getting a better known brand since the price difference is not that big.

"Hyper Tough"? Sounds legit. I've been impressed by the Black and Decker RTX, and it's not that much more expensive than this.

All depends on your usage of these tools. If you are a light user, every now and again need this kind of equipment, this is a good buy. I had one that I used off and on and it got me by most of the time. I recently started using it (or needed to start using it) more heavily and I purchased a mid level dremel. Good purchase for me again depends on your level of need.
