It all depends on the quality of the components. $224 is pretty cheap for a professional grade leaf blower, line trimmer, shrub trimmer, chainsaw, etc.
However thanks to the EPA emissions mandates it's getting near the time when you should think about 4 cycle products because 2 cycle have to run so lean that they are far less tolerant of stale fuel or early onset carb clogging, compared to products from a decade ago.
4 cycle usually have a significantly higher weight to power ratio but it's not so much of a factor on a backpack blower versus one where you're often holding the extra weight at an arm's length.
