    I have one of these. Took a great deal of customizing and installing various apps to make it do what my old Moto X used to do. And after six months, the Honor 5X has become very laggy.

    If you're buying this phone, you should be hacking it with a custom firmware. The stock firmware is unimpressive. https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-5x/development

    It's an OK phone for the price, but much better after installing a custom ROM. Benchmarks show it's about the same speed as an older Snapdragon 801, but it feels much slower in real use.
