Seems a little pricey especial like a person looking for a "Debranded" box is the one looking to overclock that i7-4820K. Interestingly it not advertised but one Eggview said "The cpu is water-cooled. Looks like a Corsair H series on it." Probably not something that would really let someone really stretch the legs on this i7-4820K.

Eggviews conflict one says it includes a GT640 anothe...r said the GTX 645. So it could be the GT 640 OEM Rebrand of a Fermi GF116 or the GK107 OEM version of a 650, while a 645 would give it a GK106, but that's even more gelded version of the 650Ti (the GTX 650 was a GK107) . Also one review said it is only one DIMM of 8Gb, but it did have 600W PSU.

To make it a decent gaming box a R9 285 or GTX960 would be the minimum today, but now you're at $800... and for that cash seem like a lot for what you end up with.

I was the one who left the review saying it'a corsair H series.

The computer is really nice. I put a 970 gtx on it and it as expected gets insane framerates on pretty much any game. It barely fits the 970 though but it's pretty darn nice imho.

It's the one nice selling feature and it's not even mentioned, that was good info. I was worried that it wouldn't fit a 970, which length or card do you have? Most of such chassis had issues with older "enthusiast" cards like 780's or 290's

If not into building this it has merit, but I'd hate the fact that the Bios was jacked with (debranded) and might never get to update the BIOS (I'd back that up). I wonder what MS sees the mobo as? Aftermarkets can cause an issue if needing to be replaced and MS doesn't recognize it. It's sticky enough when it's a known OE mobo to and Aftermarket, but a weird bois and MS might call foul.

I currently use a EVGA FTW 970 in it, so I think it's relatively close to reference size.
    (2 inches x 9.5 inches x 4.4 inches)

While I think for someone building there own machine it's smarter to get a 4790k, for anyone who just wants a good working decently overpowered machine you can start with this is a great deal imho.

You do get a 600 watt powersupply. So just plug in something like a 960 gtx if you want to play games or pick up a cheap $90 256 gig ssd and you have a screaming machine.

I currently use mine to play Smite and edit photos. Lightroom churns out photos like butter, and smite runes locked down at 150fps at 1920x1200 maximum settings. The computer never goes about 50 Celsius ever.

I am going to go ahead and buy another one only because getting a 4790k, and enthusiast board, windows 8.1 oem, and all the accessories would be way more expensive than this. It's those small things that add up that make it worth it.

Oh on a funny note. I used the 645 gtx card that comes with the machine as a physx card and it works great :)

I wonder what MS sees the mobo as?

    CPU-Z sees it as a Pegatron Corporation 2ace 1.09

In all honesty I am waiting for the board of all things to fail. I'm excited at the idea of trying something like an Asus or so on board in it's place.

^ Pretty small board, you may find your replacement choices limited which can be even more of an issue if, as it appears, a double height video card blocks one of the two available PCIe slots.
