Great deal on a great tablet... just beware of Lollipop upgrade, it bricked my Nexus 7 (a pretty common issue) and I ended up ordering another one which is still running v4.3
This one of the best deals I've seen on a bargain priced tablet all year. If you only have $120 spend on a tablet, jump on this, you might be able to find a better SOC but you won't find another tablet with as good of a combo(SOC+RAM). By that I mean you can find a superior octacore SOC for around this price, but you won't find one with 2GB of RAM(unless you go with an Asian market tablet, then your options expand, but good luck getting it serviced in a reasonable amount of time). With the overwhelming majority of android applications on Google Play right now that extra GB of RAM is going to make all the difference. And the extras are fantastic. On the downside, the lack of an sd card slot is a tremendous hindrance. If you plan on using a tablet for most of your computing needs, you may want to get one that conveniently supports removable media.

One of my 2 were bricked from it too. I'm somewhat of a Google fanboy, but it ticks me off that they didn't own up to that. They said if I would have bought it from the play store, it would have been covered, but since it was from Best Buy, I was out of luck. I can't believe there wasn't a class action lawsuit. When else can a company cause millions of dollars in damage and no one even talks lawsuit.
That's a pretty good deal, I guess, though reviews for the included dock aren't particularly positive. I have both a 16GB and a 32GB 2013 Nexus 7 in the house, and both have taken all updates without trouble up to the most current 6.x Marshmallow. They're good, reliable tablets.
Note that you can get some really good open box deals at on these tablets. I bought my Nexus 7 2013 32GB open box, like new for $125 shipped back in April. It looked like it had never been removed from the box, it was so new.
2nd gen model is great. No SD card for additional storage is sad. I have the 32 GB version and it's full. The OS uses about 4 GB so you only have about 28 GB to start with. I would imagine on the 16GB version you probably only have about 12GB available. Otherwise great device.
