I used Sling for three months and cancel. The picture is not as clear is Uverse and Comcast. And it hangs sometimes.

It's also a fraction of the cost. I have sling, and have had it since it was dishworld and love it. It's saved us so much $ that it'll be around our home for a long time to come.

Might be worth a look... I have the
amazon
fire stick right now and love it more than i thought i would.. problem is waiting for certain channels to develop apps for it- whereas Roku has already, like the Big Ten channel, and several others.

I was considering the new Firestick model over a 2nd gen Chromecast. I have a 1st gen Chromecast and love it for what it is, but perhaps Roku would be the way to go. Would you recommend a Roku 3 over either of the 2nd gen models that I mentioned?

According to Sling's website, it offers a 30 days money back guarantee in case I don't like the services. By chance, does anyone know if you get to keep the Chromecast or you'll have to return it if you decide to cancel within the 30 days?

I don't see the savings, sorry 20 dollars a month for a few cable channels

and you still have to pay for an Internet Provider

Please tell me if I am wrong, I also noticed that the channels being offered are mostly politically to the left.

So collage kids ----- Sublimable Republic = why Marxism works

Buy a NVidia shield, 4K and it has a HDMI output

15 months / 20 bucks and you own your shield and it can't be turned off.

How many Bens credits am I going to lose for telling the truth!

That's my faith

If you don't like the choices, don't pay. The rest of the word salad is not making sense.

you dont have much choices for $20, but the picture quality is good, i am using SlingTV from fire stick, it freezes sometimes but overall i am satisfied.
i would go with ROKU stick deal instead of chromecast, since we all have the older version.

Runs better on this with less lag and better quality than versus a roku stick... I noticed way too much lag between the remote and using Roku
