While a good price *No Rebate* in the market today and with the impending competition. I'd be weary there's a lot of these that aren't any much more impressive in performance and are still asking 20-25% higher prices.
Good performance but 95% of 1050ti do not have a PCIex power connector and pull power from your motherboard only which will likely deteriorate it eventually as it runs near peak spec of pci at 75wats. Also Nvidi got rid of SLI(dual card) capability for the 1050 and for the first time a 1060 "6" series card.
Nvidia dominated too long and it shows by half arse ideas. G-sync requires "nvidia hardware chip in monitor to utilize versus AMD "freesync" which is open source and part of the HDMI spec. Also AMD has (SLI) crossfire on their new 4 series/5 series and benchmarks comparatively as well in power efficiency with their new polaris chip. (btw the 5 series now is just a re-branded 4 series with slightly higher clocking) I jumped ship from nvidia from the 960 series to the new 480's for these reasons. I hate built in obsolescence by having no SLI abilities and limited choice for monitor syncing.
That said I have been with Nvidia for over 6 years, So are my friends are Back to AMD again...
not bad for reasonable medium quality 1080 gaming on a pre-built pc with low wattage PSU. anyone with 300 watt PSU or more would probably be better off spending a little more for a 70 from AMD or a 1060 3 GB from nVidia if you can wait on a $150 deal.
both are too high at $160+ unless you are in a crunch.

I thought it a little off-base to claim 95% of 1050Ti DON'T have a PCIE 6-Pin, so I thought I'd try and use Egg and see if I could sort those that do (or don't) and well that I didn't seem to find a clear way to do that. AND... is it just this work computer here or does it seem like the 's site is a whole lot more finicky/slow anymore (not responding, certificates problems)? Seems like the new owners are probably doing more tracking of what we do on the site...
So it is hard to figure out what does and what doesn't have the 6-pin, sometimes there's nothing in the spec's, but the picture shows one. Even that not absolute as it might be a photo of a model that has it, but the model they used for picture is not for that model. More often the dual fan OC's will have the 6-pins and those are the pricey models.
Here's the thing, if your wanting to game get a Ti and with a 6-Pin, if not for gaming get the 1050. Oh, If you have an OEM box with undersized PSU... then you get the 1050 or will perhaps find the PCI slot burnt and PSU is fried with it. The smart move is replace the PSU and really get to game at 1080p with RX470/570.
