I sure like to see a head to head of the GIGABYTE Radeon R9 390 8Gb (rev. 1.0) 8GB; it's got down to $274 -AR$20 back Sept 18th time. Nice card comes with 1025 MHz core and a backing plate.

I don't know if it should be totally dismiss the R9 390 as a rebranded R9 290 (Hawaii), while technically true their something AMD got going with Grenada from either a improve TSMC processes or... that has the R9 390 enhanced in various ways. Is it enough to cause one to look when 390's have a 30% tacked on to the price differently not, but when 290's models are drying up and prices are starting to be similar, I see a price like the Gigabyte shown above being a reasonably consideration, especially when you look to be moving to a 1440p.
