lots of complaints on
amazon
due to this device relying on the manufacturer' servers for remote control of the thermostat. doesn't work on a local WiFi connection. sensi... you're dead to me. I don't rely on services that may be gone long before the end of the product's life.

I've owned one of these for 2 trouble-free years. Especially like that it didn't require any extra wiring - literally installed and setup in 15-minutes.

These are crappy. Looses track of the wifi all the time and shows as offline.

So easy to install. No c wire needed.
Also check your electric provider, you may get a $100 rebate for switching to WIFI thermostat.

I have had this for a year with no issues at all. My Nest was making my a/c short cycle because it was drawing to much power. This works fine without the c-wire.

If don't have a c-wire to run the Nest, Ecobee, Honeywell or any of the wifi thermostats, there's a product on
Amazon
that solves the problem. http://www.amazon.com/dp/product/B075PN6NCV. Plug one end to the "RC" terminal (used for cooling system, not used in a furnace setup) and the other to the "C" (common) terminal, plug in the adapter and problem solved. Just hide the wire behind the wall or run it along the baseboards like I did. Beat paying my electrician $200 to run new wiring.
