So tempted to pick it up for this price but it uses a custom file system so if the entire unit fails you have to have another Drobo to swap the drives into.

if you want mismatched drives, ALL NAS options use a propriety file system. Nature of the beast. Very tempting price for a great product.

for $240. I have the 2 bay one and it is very nice.
