This is a good deal. Also saw that you can bundle an extra battery for $50. Too bad they won't allow to bundle 2 extra batteries. Still it's an very good deal.

^ You can probably roll your own batt pack for less than $50, so long as you're comfortable soldering or crimping the connector onto it.

DJI Phantoma with their fancy software and hardware will not fly with a self rolled battery. They will only fly with a DJI official battery. The batteries are chipped like ink cartridges. So in theory they are selling what would otherwise be a $15 battery for $150.
