I have had several Grind&Brew coffee makers, but this one is the best ever. First, if you have not tried Grind&Brew, you are in for a treat. Coffee is cheaper, and the flavor of freshly ground beans is amazing. This particular coffee maker flat makes better coffee: it grinds a bit finer than most, uses a cheap replaceable carbon filter for the water (no need for bottled), and brews just a little slower through a thicker column of grounds. Also 12-cup+ capacity (more like 14 if you fill to brim) - but it makes stronger coffee than both of my 10-cup machines using the same amount of coffee. $150 on - a no-brainer at this price. Note: the only difference is that the refurb does not include the gold mesh filter basket. They are available separately on for 6 bucks, but I have gone back to paper filters - MUCH easier cleanup.

Thank you!
