I purchased these couple of weeks ago and would advise against. First off, they died after a week of daily use. I do perspire heavily but these are listed as "active" use. Secondly, as you can read in the comments, they really do hurt your ears after prolonged use. To exercise they need to be firmly seated in the ear and the ear buds are quite hard plastic. This will cause some level of discomfort after even a few minutes of use. I'd try another pair. Also the sound was missing the higher frequencies and not very good.
