1 HP = 746 Watts. 120V x 15A = 1800W (roughly). So, only about 2.4HP are even possible out of a regular 15A outlet. 2400W and 3.2HP for a 20A outlet. 4HP is marketing BS, unless it uses 220/240V. Nope. I checked, and it's 120V.
