Yeah about 18 years ago, or a little after Corel bought WP, I got it, Dragon Naturally Speaking, and a headset mic bundle for free after rebate.

IMO the old versions have actually appreciated in value because these days, just writing a letter requires 10X the HDD app space while the old stuff would do the same job with a few dozen MB, ignoring the DOS version that fit on a floppy.

I use LibreOffice and I'm surprised that Microsoft hasn't sued them because they're almost identical. Screw Microsoft.
