No batteries to replace. Atomic means never having to reset the time.

I've always loved the gshock watches. I had a friend once get his stolen, the robber had no interest in his wallet, just his bomb *** watch.

Very strange opinions on this. IMO plastic watches are worth about $20 if name brand, maybe $25 if it has something special going for it besides not needing a battery... when one costs 30 cents and lasts for years. The ones in many plastic Timex watches last a decade.

Agreed. And I also agree that this looks like something straight out of the 80's. I personally tend to gravitate toward watches constructed of 316L "surgical grade" stainless with hand-wind movements, but that's just a preference thing, I suppose.

G-Shock watches are the real deal. I have one that I accidentally ran over with the car. Trashed the band and the bezel, but the watch core still worked great. Quick part replacement and I am still rocking it several years later.

G-Shocks are a solid watch, they are a bit big on the wrist so you may want to try one on first.
