This use to be called indigo backlit, I have a Timex pocket watch that has this illumination, Cool stuff. It can also lite the path in a dark cave!

Good to have if your going to be in the wilderness. Watches will always be something you can use even when you forget to charge your phone to use as your clock you can wear a watch as a backup. This casio watch also can illuminate to be seen in the dark. Great price and a great brand of watch.

It is waterproof and thus is good for fishing and canoeing trip. It is cheap too.

That is dirt cheap. Casio products are generally reliable and durable. I like the design, and it's great in the dark, especially when out camping.
The band is quite attractive as well.
I'm definitely getting one.

I bought one of these to use as a "camping watch" (didn't want to scratch up my vintage Omega). Hard to beat for the price and I don't have to worry about losing it / breaking it / accidentally dropping it into the campfire.

I am really excited to get this in the mail. It may not be an exact replacement for my Timex Expedition, but at $12, it's a great option.
