    I paid $320 6.5 years ago, on sale from about $400, for a very similar 10MP model and its still more than adequate for my purposes -- which are fairly diverse. It also works fine with rechargeable batteries. (I hear some don't because the 1.2v doesn't quite do the trick.) Like the person above, if I have a someone in mind who needed one, I'd jump at this one.

    You will literally not find a better camera for the price. The only thing that comes close is the Fuji X200-300
