How accurate are these? I haven't seen an electronic one that is as accurate as the old fashioned kind.

Although this is a lot fancier, you can get the color changing plastic strip type for around $3.

I'd love to buy one of these. We actually have two of the small stick type digital thermometers around, but one was actually used to take our dogs temp rectally when he was having a problem and the vet on the phone wanted his temp. (I used to work for vets so I could do this without being squeamish)

But ever since, we can't remember which of the two we used, so no one will take their temp anymore. With this one we'd all be safe.
