If you want arguably the best there is, then this is also the best offer ever, on a top of the line launch, that I can recall. Must not give in to the Dark Side...

These phones also comes with the Gear VR headset, with games. (You'll get two.) Also, if you buy it at Costco, you'll get a $25 gift card, 64GB microSD, and a portable battery.

I don't know if it's true here, but they usually charge you the taxes on the full price of the 2nd phone.

The rebate comes later.

You still have to have both phones on a plan. That kills the deal for those that only need 1 line.

don't get why people are crying or calling this a catch 22. it's one of the most ridiculously awesome phone deals ever.
1. Add at least one new line. Two if you are new to T-Mobile.
2. Buy 2 phones on EIP payment plans.
3. Submit for rebate of full price of one phone.
4. Submit for free gear vr for each of two phones purchased.
5. Submit for free year of Netflix for each of two phones purchased.
6. Receive rebate for one phone.
7. Pay off EIP payment plan on new line.
8. Close that line.
You got 2 of the latest phones on the market for the price of one plus tax and service for an additional line for two months and you also got 2 gear vr's which are $100 each and 2 years of Netflix which is $216.

anyone who says this is a bad deal is out of their mind.

I know I'm crazy but I don't think this deal (although not bad) is some kind of super fantastic either. Netflix is cool but we already have a different service. Keep both? Then, if you open a new line it's $10 plus tax monthly, which will run you $120 over a year. Great phone to be sure and if I was switching to TMO I would use it in a heartbeat, but for those with recent phones there will be more hassle than is worth the thrill. The market _is_ efficient after all.

This is an awesome deal. Tmo also announced today free mlb.tv premium for subscribers, a $110 value.

Just because this deal may not perfectly aligned for your needs does not mean it's not an awesome deal

1. "Netflix is cool but we already have a different service. Keep both?"
No, get rid of the one that's not free.
2. "Then, if you open a new line it's $10 plus tax monthly, which will run you $120 over a year."
Once you get your Visa Check card use it to pay off the EIP payment plan on the phone
then close the line. You shouldn't be paying for more than 2 months of service.

This deal is ridiculous and if you put in the legwork you'll be rewarded.
