nice. love my cheapo French press. I think I got mine for 8 bucks half broken (didn't have a lid). I would have bought this one instead for $12 new if I saw it a year ago. They are ultra convenient and easy to use.
Note that these guys change their carafe style ever few years so in a year or two when you break the glass you'll have to buy a new one. Not as big a deal for $12, but these used to run $30-40.
A cheap French Press is a good thing to have around, just in case. Makes good coffee and doesn't need power. Gas stove, fireplace, camp stove, whatever, and you have coffee no matter what.
Tough to beat the taste quality per dollar on this press. They are a bit messy to clean up, and you'll have some sediment in the last cup poured ... maybe not so much a daily driver but worth pulling out on weekends.
I cracked mine not to long ago, so I am hoping for a new one for Christmas. I had a tiny one before, I think this one would be just perfect for me and hubby.
