I purchased this the last time it was on sale and it actually works surprisingly well for what it is. With it plugged into the 12v outlet, I start up my truck, it powers on and says "bluetooth mode" in some british ladies accent. I then hit the play button and it starts playing pandora from my phone. it's set to **.5 fm which has a radio station on it, but again surprisingly takes over and plays my music unlike most transmitters..
The downside is that you have to turn up the volume in order to hear it.
I only drive a short distance to and from work, maybe 15 minutes each way, so it works for me. Of course if my stereo had bluetooth, or an aux port or usb port, I'd use that... but it doesn't and I'm too lazy to change it out.
Ditto on the above. Also got it last time around. Actually seems to send fm signal quite clearly, (much clearer than the last one I had). Have used it during calls for kids to talk to grandma moving the unit towards backseat, (as far as the short cord will allow). Mic doesn't seem to pick up as well as smartphone's. Almost wanna take it inside with a power adapter cigarette lighter and turn my old receiver into Bluetooth device. Or get another and seamlessly and wirelessly keep listening to the music everywhere I go without the new car sticker price. Might actually start listening to the "radio" again.

Thank you!
