^ True but some of us have so many surplus ATX cases w/o the USB3 ports in front that it's hard to justify buying new cases just to add that feature, especially if you're going to use a hub that you're going to plug into the back so that's not sticking out in the way.
I'm glad Intel didn't manage to sway the whole industry to BTX. If you can get away from the idea that you must have 120mm fans (and sometimes Intel HD audio pinout) in a case then you have around 18 years worth of past cases to choose from.
^ Commodore 64 floppy drives were 170K, or a massive 340K if you notched the disk to use the other side. It still beat the load times of cassette tapes.
