    Good deal for the specs. I got an iMac in 2011, put 12 extra gb of RAM and is still running like new.

    building systems was middle school/high school stuff. My time is worth way more now. The build quality and aesthetics on these things rock. I'll leave the tinkering to help desk level folks

    For this particular model the 8GB RAM is actually soldered on, like an ultrabook, also not the ULV proc. The 1TB HDD is 2.5" and can be replaced but requires a fresh set of adhesive (roughly $20 on ifixit). New rechargeable keyboard and mouse are excellent (typing this on them now). Great looking machine at a good price, just needs an 850 evo.
