I have the 10 outlet version of this surge protector and was disappointed to find the listed RJ45 jacks are really only RJ11 phone jacks. You can't connect your smart TV through this so all incoming sources of surges are handled. Warranties require it on surge suppressors, so you're SOL with this one. It also uses about 5 watts average 24/7 for the energy saving circuitry. It's a heavy, nice looking unit with some screwed up features.
