^ Are you sure it runs on batteries? Looks like it runs from an AC/DC wall wart and has a 1.5A USB charging port, no way to run it from batteries unless you rigged up a custom pack.
As for those specs, one place it reads 9V, another 16V, but either way it is unlikely to be 10W (with W meaning watts) rather than deceptive marketing. It's getting hilarious when different rebrands state different voltage, wattage, lumens. At least they're consistently calling it a lamp instead of say, a frog. However the price isn't bad for what it is.
