Excellent price for this. I'm loving mine, but if you're going to install emulators on it for gaming, get a wired controller as the lag over bluetooth is terrible.
I own two of these and couldn't be happier. Bought so that I could subscribe to PlayStation Vue and get rid of my cable package to save money. Easy setup and simple user interface.
Between my Google Chromecast, multiple Roku boxes / streaming sticks, and the Fire TV - I prefer the Fire TV. The response is faster, UI is easier and more fluid and it just works.
I will admit that the Roku offers a lot more choices in terms of content, but my family uses YouTube, Netflix, or Prime 99% of the time so it is fantastic. Plus unlike my Rokus I don't need to perform a hard reset every other month to keep them running.
I can't comment in relation to Apple TV since I don't own one, but if you are on the ecosystem one of these would be a no-brainer.
I use the firestick to run kodi. How much better is this than the stick?
I had two fire tv sticks. The fire tv is SO much better. It is just way more responsive and quicker. I still have the stick in my bedroom but I'm tempted to pull the trigger here and change the bedroom over to a TV as well.
