Be aware that past era Tracfones, their non-smartphones, came out of the box with 60 days of service and 20 minutes making them dirt cheap burner phones good for all kinds of questionable activities.
Now any smartphone you get from them comes with none, requires purchase of airtime up front to get it activated. The phone itself can still be purchased separately and used as a tiny slow phablet or MP3 player/etc, or just to put it through it's usability paces (besides the cellular service) without activation, but by the time you pay for a year of service you could have had a more usable Tracphone model for nearly the same TCO.
