What a shame for such poor specs on an i7 4790!
^ Perhaps but consider that most OEM system buyers get intel integrated video and keep using it the life of the system, and most aren't doing anything that needs over 8GB.
This is how it's been with OEMs for many years if you buy a SFF instead of full mATX system. Making it thin means only a half-height video card would fit and there's inadequate cooling for much either way if it had a beefier PSU which there's no room for either... but some people fall in love with a smaller case size.
