These white labeled, made in Japan cells are last gen (or probably now current gen but old specs carried over) Eneloops.

When on sale they are the arguably the best value out there. The other side of the argument is that 2nd tier LSD cells have become reasonably good performers in recent years, enough that the quality:price ratio is higher as they usually perform within 15% of Eneloops but usually cost about half as much.
