The world has gone mad. They market them as "Made with Natural Ingredients; Non-GMO Ingredients No trans fat or preservatives; Kosher Parve; BPA Free" while the only ingredients they do have, empty carb calories, fat, and sodium, are things most diets need less of.
For example, contrast them with a can of GMO tomatoes in a BPA lined can, preserved with calcium chloride and citric acid. The FDA maintains that GMO tomatoes, those preservatives, and BPA (at past human consumption levels from can linings) are safe.
