^ No, around 2700-2900K was where many incan bulbs were, and the CFLs meant to emulate them. 4K and above is considered a harsher, near-daylight bulb.

I dunno. With 40/60W equivalents fast approaching $2/bulb, doesn't seem like a great deal, especially without dimming.
