Each roll contains almost 67 feet of tape for a box total of 400 feet (133.33 yards total).

Because I use a "tape gun" (a larger roll dispenser with a handle) around the house, I bought a pack of this Exheed packing tape just before Christmas, 2016 (the $9.99 deal found here at Ben's Bargains): https://www.amazon.com/EXHEED-Packing-Tape-Commercial-Industrial/dp/B01FMBAY1G

The Scotch tape is $0.024 per foot and the Exheed tape current price is $0.0071 per foot. I've used both and I believe the Exheed product is just as good as the Scotch tape. However, the Scotch product is more than THREE TIMES the cost per foot than the Exheed tape. This makes the Exheed tape a better "bargain" even at its current, non-sale price!

Thanks for the tip. Exheed tape it is. 300% markup for name brand? No thanks.

Comparison seems apples to oranges. The Scotch rolls each come with their own dispenser, when exheed product comes without even one. What does Scotch sell just their rolls at in bulk, would be something to compare. I bought this deal well over a year ago. Kids still use them, but generally we don't go through much tape for anything. Most are kept in one drawer, but sometimes still end up scattered throughout the house. Yet, no matter where I find one, it's dispenser is ready to cough up some tape.

Here you go, lazy bones - if you had bothered to scroll down to the bottom of the page and viewed the "Customers also shopped for" section, there is a link for a 6-roll package of Scotch-brand heavy-duty packing tape without the built-in dispensers and ready for a "tape gun": https://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Shipping-Packaging-6-Rolls-3850-6/dp/B000087KUA

Since the length of the Scotch rolls are shorter than the Exheed rolls (by half), you have to purchase TWO of the Scotch 6-pack packages to get close to the ONE 6-pack packages of the Exheed tape. Can you even do math? I ask because apparently you are unable to even find a comparatively-sized product for comparison.

655.8 yards (1,967 feet) of Exheed tape cost $13.99 = $0.0071 per foot
655.2 yards (1,965 feet) of Scotch tape cost $36.82 = $0.0187 per foot
Therefore, the rolls of Scotch-brand tape costs more than TWO AND A HALF times more than the Exheed brand tape per foot. I hope this math isn't too difficult for you.

The 0.5-mil difference between the Scotch and the Exheed tapes does not make any measurable difference when taping up 99% of the things that heavy-duty packing tape would be used for. A good real-world test would be to tape up two identical boxes and fill them with hardcover books (very heavy items in bulk) - then carry each box to the end of your driveway a few times. No difference.

Oh, and a nice tape gun will cost about $8.995 each. Exheed sells a highly-reviewed Tape King-brand 2-pack of 'em for $17.99 on
Amazon
- see how I did that math?

I hope this post was easy enough for you to understand.

Well, there are a lot of complaints about the Exheed, ranging from poor adhesive to deceptive packaging (selling 55 yard rolls in packages marked 109 yards).

I like the Duck brand tape as a more economical alternative to Scotch

Wait, you started this thread with a comparison of the bulk roll of TAPE ONLY from another brand to this deal on a convenience pack with tape AND DISPENSER. Apples to oranges. Then you expect me to clean up your mess: "lazy bones"; "can you even do math?" Better still, you apparently agree your first comparison was faulty, because you continue comparing two products, (now neither of which are even a comparison to this deal). By your numbers, to get six rolls of tape randomly scattered around my house WITH dispensers, (which this deal on a convenience pack has gotten me), would cost $53.97, , plus another $13.99 in tape for a total of $67.96. Compared to this deal at $8.23. Tough call. Yours is certainly the better deal should you be needing to ever move out of your parent's basement, (heck, I bet they would pay the entire move for ya, packing tape and dispenser included, am I right?). But for those already moved out, say with kids, and a decent enough job they aren't continually selling **** on
eBay
, this deal might make more sense.

Wow, the passion over tape here is intense! If every post had such great technical input, It would save me years of research. Seriously!(not sarcastic)
I did get some of the Exheed too in december. Still on the first roll, it is thicker than 3m but when it slips off dispenser and reattaches itself to roll, it shreds into splinters. I spent more time getting a straight piece than actually packing. MAKE SURE you do not let the Exheed tape come off the 3m red plastic Dispenser catch. Aside from splintering risk it seems tacky and strong like the 3m. A proper pro tape gun seems what Exheed needs, then likely equal or better value than 3m.
